Quick Start Guide for Option Scalper

Option Scalper is a dedicated options trading workspace on FYERS Web that brings market analysis, order placement, and trade management together on one screen. You can track Call, underlying, and Put charts, review options data, place orders, and access positions, orders, holdings, and funds without leaving the workspace.


Access Option Scalper

  1. Log in to FYERS Web.
  2. Click Scalper in the top-right corner of the screen.

Understanding the Option Scalper workspace

The Option Scalper workspace displays three charts:

  • Call chart: Shows the price movement of the selected Call option.
  • Underlying chart: Shows the price movement of the selected underlying index or instrument.
  • Put chart: Shows the price movement of the selected Put option.

The chart workspace also includes controls for:

  • Time intervals
  • Chart type
  • Indicators
  • Symbol search
  • Drawing tools
  • Chart layouts

Scalper toggle work

When the Scalper toggle is turned on, clicking Buy CE, Sell CE, Buy PE, or Sell PE submits the order directly. The regular order window does not open for confirmation.

Important: Before clicking Buy or Sell while the Scalper toggle is enabled, verify the selected strike, order type, quantity, transaction side, and approximate margin. The order is submitted immediately without opening the order window.

Market Depth 

The Market Depth panel displays bid and ask information for the selected contract, including available quantities, order counts, and price levels. It also shows the available price statistics for the contract.


News 

The News panel displays market-related and symbol-related news available within the Option Scalper workspace.


Order Panel

The order panel appears below the Call and Put charts. It allows you to:

  • Select the required strike.
  • Select the order quantity.
  • Enter or modify the quantity before placing the order.
  • View the approximate margin required for the order.
  • Place a Buy or Sell order using the relevant button.

The available Buy and Sell buttons are:

  • Buy CE and Sell CE for Call options.
  • Buy PE and Sell PE for Put options.

Exit a position or cancel an order

Use the relevant position or order controls available in the Option Scalper workspace:

  • Use the exit-position control to close an selected open position.
  • Use the cancel-order control to cancel an selected pending order.
  • An order that has already been fully executed cannot be cancelled.

Use the bottom panel to access the following sections:

  • Positions: View position-related information available in your account.
  • Holdings: View holdings linked to your account.
  • Orders: Track order status and order activity.
  • Funds: View fund-related details.
