Is Cheque Deposit Allowed for Fund Transfer to FYERS trading Account?

No, we do not accept cheque deposits as a valid mode of fund transfer. To comply with SEBI regulations and ensure secure, real-time fund traceability, all transfers must be completed through approved digital banking methods only.

Accepted fund transfer methods

You can transfer funds to your FYERS trading account using any of the following methods:

  • UPI (Unified Payments Interface) — free and fast
  • IMPS (Immediate Payment Service)
  • NEFT (National Electronic Funds Transfer)
  • RTGS (Real-Time Gross Settlement)
  • NetBanking from a linked bank account

The following are not supported:

  • Cheque deposits
  • Cash payments
  • Wallet-based payments
  • Debit/Credit cards

Always use a bank account that is registered with FYERS to avoid payment failures or reversals.

For the safest and fastest experience, always fund your FYERS account digitally using UPI or NEFT from a registered bank account.
