How to view symbol details and take action from the Watchlist on FYERS?

You can view detailed stock information and take quick trading or research actions directly from the Watchlist in both FYERS Web and FYERS App. The interface allows you to analyse charts, fundamentals, place orders, or even set alerts from the same screen.

This guide explains how to do this step-by-step on both FYERS.

On FYERS App

How to view a symbol:

  • Tap Watchlist from the bottom navigation bar.
  • Choose from My Watchlist, Predefined, or Smart Watchlist.
  • Tap any symbol to highlight it.
  • Tap the 3-dot menu beside the stock to open the action menu.
  • You’ll see the stock name, last traded price, price change, and exchange — with quick access to available actions.

What you can do:

  • Filter – Show selected instruments only
  • Related News – View symbol-linked news
  • Edit – Change placement in the list
  • Pin – Prioritise the symbol at the top
  • Search – Add new stocks
  • Clear – Empty the list temporarily
  • Delete – Remove the symbol permanently

On FYERS Web

How to view a symbol:

  • Go to Watchlist from the top menu.
  • Under My Watchlist, click any symbol.
  • A detail panel opens on the right showing:
    • Stock name, LTP, price change, and exchange
    • Tabs for Overview, Charts, Fundamentals, F&O, Technicals, News, and Corporate details
  • Scroll down to see detailed Price Stats (Open, High, Low, 52W range, Volume, Circuit limits).
  • Use the chart toolbar to switch between timeframes (1D, 1M, 1Y, etc.).

What you can do:

  • Use the B (Buy) or S (Sell) buttons next to the symbol for instant trades.
  • Click the 3-dot menu to:
    • View Market Depth
    • Access the Option Chain
    • Create Alert
    • Start SIP
    • Create GTT
    • Add to another Watchlist

Tip: On FYERS Web, you can simply hover over any symbol to  see the detailed view— no clicks needed.


On FYERS Trader 

How to view symbol details:

  • Open FYERS Trader; the right-side Watchlist panel is visible by default.
  • Click any symbol in the watchlist. The selected row highlights and the main chart loads that instrument.

How to take actions :

  • Buy/Sell the selected symbol (via chart buttons or Quick Trade on the top bar).
  • Add/Search symbols to the current list using the + icon in the watchlist header.
  • Clear list to remove all items from the active watchlist.
