How To Use Group By To Organise Positions in FYERS?

The Group By feature helps you organise your positions into clear categories, making it easier to review open, closed, profit-making, loss-making, or product-wise positions at a glance.

You can use Group By from the Positions section on both FYERS App and FYERS Web. The grouped view helps you scan positions faster without checking each position line by line.

How Group By works

Group By arranges your positions into expandable sections based on the category you select. You can switch between grouping options at any time, depending on how you want to review your positions.

You can group positions by:

  • Status: View positions as All, Open, or Closed.
  • P&L: Group positions based on profit or loss.
  • Products: View positions based on product type such as Intraday, Overnight, or MTF.
  • Symbol type: Group positions as Equity, Options, or Futures.
  • Underlying & expiry: Group derivative positions by underlying and contract expiry.
  • Smart Exit: Identify positions included or excluded from Smart Exit.
Closed positions remain visible under Status > Closed until the end of the trading day.
