How to use Group By to organise positions in FYERS?
Use Group By to cluster your open positions by Status, P&L, Underlying, Products, or Symbol type for quicker review.
On FYERS App
- Go to Portfolio → Positions.
- Tap Group By.
- Select how you want to organise your positions:
- Status — Open / Closed
- P&L — In profit / In loss
- Underlying — Stock / Index
- Products — Intraday / Overnight / MTF
- Symbol type — Equity / Options / Futures
On FYERS Web
- Go to Portfolio → Positions.
- Click the Group By dropdown at the top of the list.
- Choose from Status, P&L, Underlying, Products, or Symbol type.
What if...
| Scenario | What to check |
|---|
| Group By menu not visible | Ensure you are on the Positions tab (not Holdings). On Web, check the Group By dropdown above the table. |
| A group shows no items | That category currently has no positions (e.g., no MTF positions). Switch to another grouping or select Status = All. |
| Want to see a flat list again | Select Status and keep All selected to return to a flat list view. |
| Counts don’t match expectations | Filters like Status (Open/Closed) or search may be active. Clear filters to see all positions. |
