How to Place GTT in FYERS Next?
FYERS Next allows you to place GTT (Good Till Triggered) orders, which let you set trigger conditions for long term execution without needing to track the market throughout the day. These orders stay active until the trigger price is reached or you choose to cancel them.
Steps to Place a GTT Order in FYERS Next
- Log in to the FYERS Next desktop platform.
- Select the instrument you want from your MarketWatch.
Open the Buy or Sell Trigger Order window:
- Go to Trading → Special Order → Buy or Sell Trigger Order, then select GTT for validity, or
- Press F1 for Buy or F2 for Sell, then click the GTT option in the order panel.
Enter the trigger details:
- Select the order type.
- Enter the trigger price, limit or market price, quantity, and validity.
- If you want both stop loss and target, enable the OCO option and enter both values.
- Review your inputs and click Buy or Sell to confirm the order.
Notes
- GTT orders are not shown in the regular OrderBook.
- To view, update, or cancel them, go to the Trigger OrderBook under the OrderBook section.
- GTT orders are sent to the exchange only after the trigger price is met.
