How to place an Intraday order in FYERS?

Intraday orders are meant for same-day trading. If you don’t close your positions manually, FYERS Risk Management System (RMS) will initiate the auto square-off process based on the applicable segment.

Auto square-off will begin at 3:05 PM for CAS-eligible Equity stocks, 3:20 PM for non-CAS Equity stocks, and 3:25 PM for Index and Stock F&O positions. The F&O square-off time may be extended up to 3:30 PM depending on market volume and operational requirements. After the applicable square-off time, only Delivery/Overnight orders can be placed.

On FYERS App

Tap on the scrip you wish to Buy or Sell.
Select the Intraday tab.
Input the order details (Qty, price, order type, etc.).
Tap Buy {Qty} or Sell {Qty} to place the order.

On FYERS Web

Click on Buy or Sell for the scrip.
Select the Intraday tab.
Input the order details.
Click Buy {Qty} or Sell {Qty} to confirm.

On FYERS Trader

Click on Buy or Sell for the scrip.
Select the Intraday tab.
Input the order details.
Click Buy {Qty} or Sell {Qty} to place the order.

What If?

Why can’t I place or modify Intraday orders after the applicable square-off time?	FYERS RMS initiates auto square-off at 3:05 PM for CAS-eligible Equity stocks, 3:20 PM for non-CAS Equity stocks, and 3:25 PM for Index and Stock F&O positions. What happens if I don’t exit my position?	FYERS RMS will attempt to square off your position automatically. Applicable auto square-off charges will be deducted.
What if my position can’t be squared off automatically?	If there is no liquidity or if exchange restrictions apply, the open-position risk remains with you until the position can be exited.
