How to Place a Basket Order in FYERS Next?

Basket orders in FYERS Next allow you to group multiple trades and place them together in a single action. This helps you execute strategies more efficiently, rebalance portfolios, and manage several positions at once without placing each order manually.

Steps to Place a Basket Order in FYERS Next

  1. Log in to FYERS Next using your credentials.
  2. Go to the Trading tab.
  3. Select Basket Order from the dropdown menu or use the shortcut Ctrl + B.
  4. Add scrips to the basket
    • Add scrips manually.
    • Or import a saved list using the Basket File option.
  5. Review the basket details
    • Verify instrument names and quantities.
    • Set order type (Market, Limit), price, product type, and validity.
  6. Click Place Basket to execute all orders together.

Basket File Format (For Importing)

To import a basket correctly, ensure your file follows the format supported by FYERS:

  • Symbol Name
  • Quantity
  • Order Type
  • Buy/Sell
  • Product Type
  • Validity

Note: Save your basket file in .txt or .csv format as per FYERS requirements.
