How to Link FYERS Next to Excel?
At FYERS, we provide an inbuilt Excel Add-In that lets you stream real-time market data from FYERS Next directly into Microsoft Excel. This helps you track scrips, analyse prices, and build custom strategies more efficiently.
Step-by-Step: Linking FYERS Next to Excel
Open FYERS Next installation directory
- Right-click on the FYERS Next desktop shortcut.
- Select Open File Location from the dropdown.
Navigate to the Add-in folder
- Open the first folder named
app-YYYY.MM.DD (this varies based on install date). - Open the Addin folder inside it.
- Copy the full folder path, for example:
C:\Program Files\FYERS Next\app-YYYY.MM.DD\Addin.
Open Microsoft Excel
- Go to File → Options.
- Click on Add-ins.
- At the bottom, choose Excel Add-ins and click Go.
Add the FYERS Add-in
- Click Browse and paste the copied folder path.
- Select the file named
NorenLink-AddIn-packed. - Click OK to add it to Excel.
- Ensure the add-in is checked, then click OK again.
Link data from FYERS Next
- Open FYERS Next.
- Right-click any scrip.
- Select Link to Excel.
- Live market data will begin streaming into Excel.
