How to exit or adjust open option positions from the Option Chain in FYERS?
You can exit an open options position or move it to another strike directly from the FYERS Option Chain. Once the order is executed, a position marker appears against the relevant strike.
Steps to exit or adjust an options position from the Option Chain
On FYERS App
- Log in to the FYERS App.
- Open Option Chain and select the required symbol.
- Select the required Call or Put strike and place the order.
- After execution, tap the position marker.
- Select Exit Position to close the position or Adjust Position to move it to another strike.
For an adjustment, select the new strike, tap Apply, review the Exit and Entry orders, and tap Execute.
On FYERS Web
- Log in to FYERS Web.
- Open the required symbol and go to Option Chain.
- Select the required Call or Put strike and place the order.
- After execution, click the position marker.
- Select Exit Position to close the position or Adjust Position to move it to another strike.
For an adjustment, select the new strike and click Confirm. Review the Exit and Entry orders in the Adjustments window and click Execute.
What happens when Scalper Mode is enabled?
Brokerage and other applicable charges apply to each executed order, including the exit and new entry orders during a position adjustment. Check the order status after placement to confirm execution.
