How to exit a single position from Positions in FYERS?
Use this option to close an individual position manually before the market closes or to lock in profits or cut losses.
Steps
What If
Scenario | What to Do |
---|
Exit icon is disabled or missing | Ensure the position is open and not already fully exited. |
Partial exit not available | Check if the remaining quantity is too small (below minimum lot size). |
Order not executing | Check margin availability and price conditions. |
Position still visible after exit | It may take a few seconds to update; refresh the page or switch tabs. |
Notes
Exit order will be placed as a market order by default. If you have an open stop-loss or pending order, those can be cancelled during exit.
