How To Exit a Single Position From Positions in FYERS?

You can exit any individual position directly from the Positions tab using the side sheet (App) or inline/side panel (Web). This allows you to partially or fully close a position with just a few clicks.

On FYERS App

  1. Go to Portfolio from the bottom navigation and open the Positions tab.
  2. Tap the position you want to exit to open the side sheet.
  3. Tap Exit position.
  4. Use the slider to select how much of the position to exit — 25%, 50%, 75%, or 100%.
  5. Check “Cancel all pending orders” if you want linked open orders to be removed.
  6. Tap Confirm to complete the exit.

On FYERS Web

  1. Go to Portfolio > Positions from the top navigation.
  2. Hover over the position you want to exit and click Exit (red icon).
  3. In the pop-up, use the slider to select exit quantity by percentage or lot size.
  4. Check “Cancel all pending orders” to remove linked open orders.
  5. Click Confirm to place your exit order.
Exiting a position places a market order. If liquidity is low or volatility is high, the execution price can differ from the Last Traded Price (LTP).
