How to Enable or Disable Time‑Based One‑Time Password (TOTP) in FYERS?
Time‑Based One‑Time Password (TOTP) is a 6‑digit code generated by an authenticator app that refreshes every 30 seconds. It adds an extra layer of security to your FYERS login. This guide explains how to enable or disable TOTP on both the FYERS App and FYERS Web, with step‑by‑step videos included.
Important: Once TOTP is enabled, you must always use the same authenticator app where you set it up. If you uninstall or lose access to it, you’ll need to reset 2FA after identity verification.
Tip: Prefer using Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator. If possible, link the app to your cloud account for backup and easy recovery.
Enable TOTP on FYERS App
- Log in to the FYERS App.
- Tap Menu (☰) → Profile.
- Go to the Others section.
- Select External 2FA TOTP → Enable.
- A QR code appears.
- Open your authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, or Authy).
- Select Add Account → Scan QR Code.
- Scan the FYERS QR code to link your account.
- A 6‑digit TOTP appears in the app. Enter it along with your FYERS PIN.
- Tap Enable to complete setup.
Enable TOTP on FYERS Web
- Log in at https://fyers.in/web
- Click your Profile icon.
- Go to the Others tab.
- Select External 2FA TOTP → Enable.
- A QR code appears with setup instructions.
- Open your authenticator app → Add Account → Scan QR Code.
- Scan the QR code shown on FYERS Web.
- Enter the 6‑digit TOTP and your FYERS PIN.
- Click Enable to finish activation.
Disable TOTP on FYERS App
We recommend keeping TOTP enabled. If you still wish to disable it:
- Log in to the FYERS App.
- Tap Menu (☰) → Profile.
- Scroll to the Others section.
- Tap External 2FA TOTP → Disable.
- Confirm by tapping Disable again when asked.

- Log in at https://fyers.in/web
- Click your Profile icon.
- Go to the Others tab.
- Click External 2FA TOTP → Disable.
- Confirm by clicking Disable again when asked.
