How do I create and manage watchlists on FYERS?

You can create custom watchlists on FYERS to organise and track the symbols you follow regularly. You can also manage your watchlists using options such as rename, rearrange, pin, import, export, clear, and delete.

Watchlist creation and management options differ across FYERS Web, FYERS App, and FYERS Trader. Follow the steps below for the platform you use.

On FYERS App

Create a watchlist

  1. Open the FYERS App.
  2. Tap Watchlist from the bottom navigation bar.
  3. Go to the My Watchlist tab.
  4. Open the watchlist selector.
  5. Tap + Create Watchlist.
  6. Enter a name for the watchlist.
  7. Tap Create.

Manage your watchlists

From My Watchlist, open the watchlist selector to access your custom watchlists and the available management options.

  • Create Watchlist: Creates a new custom watchlist.
  • Manage Watchlists: Opens the management screen for your custom watchlists.
  • Rename: Lets you change the name of an existing custom watchlist.
  • Rearrange: Lets you change the order of your custom watchlists.
  • Delete: Removes a custom watchlist you no longer need.

On FYERS Web

Create a watchlist

  1. Log in to FYERS Web and open Watchlist.
  2. Go to the My Watchlist tab.
  3. Click the current watchlist name to open the watchlist dropdown.
  4. Select + Create Watchlist.
  5. Enter a name for the watchlist.
  6. Click Create.

Manage your watchlists

Under My Watchlist, click the current watchlist name to open the watchlist dropdown. The following options are available:

  • Create Watchlist: Creates a new custom watchlist.
  • Manage Watchlists: Opens the watchlist management screen, where you can manage your existing custom watchlists.
  • Import Watchlist: Lets you import symbols from a supported file into a watchlist.
  • Rearrange: Lets you change the order in which your custom watchlists appear.

Manage the selected watchlist

Click the three-dot menu beside the selected watchlist to access additional watchlist-level actions:

  • Related News: Displays news related to the symbols in the selected watchlist.
  • Edit: Lets you edit the selected watchlist, including its name and symbols.
  • Pin: Pins the selected watchlist for quicker access.
  • Export: Exports the selected watchlist to your device.
  • Search: Lets you search for a symbol within the selected watchlist.
  • Clear: Removes all symbols from the selected watchlist while retaining the watchlist itself.
  • Delete: Deletes the selected custom watchlist.

On FYERS Trader

Create a watchlist

  1. Open FYERS Trader.
  2. Click the current watchlist name at the top of the Watchlist panel.
  3. Select Create new list....
  4. Enter a name in the Symbol list name field.
  5. Click Save.

Manage a watchlist

Click the current watchlist name to open the watchlist dropdown. The following management options are available:

  • Create new list: Creates a new custom watchlist.
  • Rename list: Changes the name of the selected custom watchlist.
  • Import list: Imports symbols from a supported file into a watchlist.
  • Export list: Exports the selected watchlist to your device.
  • Clear list: Removes all symbols from the selected watchlist while retaining the watchlist itself.
  • Delete list: Deletes the selected custom watchlist.

Note: Each custom watchlist can contain up to 250 symbols. The symbol counter displayed beside a watchlist name, such as 20/250, shows the number of symbols currently added and the maximum capacity.
