Watchlists in FYERS let you group and track instruments—stocks, indices, ETFs, commodities, and derivatives—in one place. You can create multiple lists and then add, pin, reorder, rename, export, or delete symbols and entire lists. This guide covers the flows on FYERS App, FYERS Web, and FYERS Trader (trade.fyers.in).

Key things to know

• Each watchlist shows a counter like 1/250—you can store up to 250 instruments per watchlist.
• Pinning surfaces a list for quicker access (as a tab on App; as a pinned section on Web).
• Deleting a watchlist removes the list and its instruments from your account (this can’t be undone).
• Quick actions on App apply to the currently open watchlist.

Managing watchlists on FYERS App

Open Watchlist and create a list

1. Tap Watchlist on the bottom navigation bar.
2. Go to My watchlist and tap + Create watchlist.
3. Enter a name and tap Create.

Add or remove instruments

• Add: In the open list, tap the three dots (⋮) on the right → Search, then add instruments.
• Remove: Use the instrument’s remove action (where available) or edit the list from Quick actions → Edit.

Use Quick actions

On the Watchlist screen, tap the three dots (⋮) on the right to open Quick actions for the active list:

• Related news – open news for symbols in the list
• Edit – rename/modify instruments in this list
• Pin – make the list appear as a top tab
• Delete – remove the list
• Search – find and add instruments

Pin, unpin, and reorder lists

Method 1 — Quick actions: Open the list → ⋮ → Pin / Unpin.

Method 2 — Manage my watchlists:

1. On Watchlist, open Manage my watchlists (pencil/Edit icon).
2. Use the pin icon to move a list between Pinned and Others.
3. Drag the handle next to a pinned list to reorder.
4. Tap Save.

Rename, delete, or clear a list

1. Go to Manage my watchlists.
2. Next to a list: use pencil (rename) or trash (delete).
3. If Clear is available in your build, it removes all symbols but keeps the list name.
4. Tap Save to confirm changes.
   

Managing watchlists on FYERS Web

Create a list

1. Open Watchlist.
2. In My watchlists, click + Create watchlist.
3. Name the list and click Create.

Add or remove instruments

• Add: Use the search box or + to add symbols to the selected list.
• Remove: Click the delete icon next to an instrument to remove it.

Manage lists (pin, rename, delete, export, reorder)

1. Open My watchlists (left panel).
2. For each list, use the inline icons/⋮ menu:
   • Pin/Unpin – moves the list between Pinned and Others.
   • Rename (pencil) – change the list name.
   • Delete (trash) – remove the list.
   • Export – download the list as CSV.
3. Drag the handle next to a list to reorder within its section.
4. Click Save to commit the changes (use Reset to discard).
   

Managing watchlists on FYERS Trader

Create and populate a list

1. Open the Watchlist panel on the right of the charting screen.
2. From the dropdown at the top, choose Create new list, name it, and click Save.
3. Click + or use search to add symbols.

Manage symbols and columns

• Delete a symbol: Hover over it and click the trash icon.
• Rearrange symbols: Drag and drop within the list.
• Columns: Use the ⋮ menu by the watchlist name to add/remove columns (e.g., Last, Change, Change %, Volume).

Additional actions

• Rename the list
• Import or Export a list (CSV)
• Clear list (remove all symbols but keep the list)

Tips & warnings

• Save your changes: On App/Web’s Manage my watchlists, changes reflect only after you hit Save.
• Be careful with Delete: There is no restore for deleted lists. Export important lists periodically (Web/Trader).
• Pinned behavior: On App, pinned lists appear as swipeable tabs at the top of the Watchlist screen. On Web, they appear under the Pinned section in the left panel.
  

Troubleshooting

• I don’t see Quick actions on App. Ensure you’re on Watchlist and tap the three dots (⋮) on the right (not the top-right search).
• My pin/unpin didn’t reflect. Reopen Manage my watchlists and make sure you tapped Save.
• Watchlist name didn’t update. Switch to another list and back, or refresh the screen.
• Export option not visible. On Web or Trader, open the list’s ⋮ / menu next to its name to access Export.
