How to create and manage watchlists on FYERS?
FYERS allows you to efficiently manage your watchlists — whether you're creating new lists, editing existing ones, importing/exporting via CSV, or linking watchlists with your portfolio holdings.
Managing watchlists
- Click the + Create watchlist button on the Watchlists screen.
- Give it a name (e.g., “Intraday Picks”) and confirm.
- Use the + button to add instruments to your list.
- To modify a watchlist, go to My Watchlists and click the ⋮ (three dots) next to the list name.
From the menu, you can:
- Edit list name or symbol order
- Rearrange symbols using drag-and-drop
- Delete the list permanently
- To remove individual symbols, click the delete icon beside each.
Importing and exporting watchlists
To export:
- Click the ⋮ (three dots) on your watchlist.
- Select Export to download it as a CSV file.
To import:
- Click the watchlist name dropdown at the top of My Watchlists.
- Select Import watchlist.
- Upload a CSV file (one symbol per line, no headers).
- The system will create a new list with those symbols.
Tip: Export your watchlists regularly to back them up or transfer setups between sessions.
Watchlists under Portfolio
- FYERS displays current positions and holdings as a smart watchlist.
- You can add instruments from your Portfolio directly into My Watchlists with a single click.
