How to create and manage price alerts in FYERS?

Create price alerts to get notified when a symbol reaches a level or condition you define. Alerts are available on FYERS App, FYERS Web, and FYERS Trader. You can base alerts on LTP, Open, High, Low, or Close with conditions like >, ≥, <, ≤.

On FYERS App

Create

  1. Open any symbol from your Watchlist.
  2. In the bottom bar, scroll left and tap Alerts → Create alert.
  3. Type: defaults to LTP. You can choose Open / High / Low / Close.
  4. Condition: choose Greater than, Greater than or equal to, Less than, or Less than or equal to.
  5. Select Price or % of LTP, enter the value, name the alert, and optionally add notes.
  6. Tap Create alert.

Manage

  1. Go to Menu → Alerts (or use the Watchlist menu) to view all alerts.
  2. Tap an alert to edit (type, condition, value, name, notes) or disable/delete.

On FYERS Web

Create

  1. In Watchlist, hover a symbol → click ⋮ → Create Alert.
  2. You’ll be redirected to alerts.fyers.in.
  3. Choose Type (LTP / Open / High / Low / Close), set the Condition and Value, add an optional note, then click Create Alert.

Manage

  1. On alerts.fyers.in, scroll to the alerts list to edit, disable, or delete alerts.
  2. Use filters to quickly find alerts by symbol/status.

On FYERS Trader

You can create alerts directly from charts in two ways.

Method 1 — Hover and click “+” on the chart

  1. Open the chart for the symbol.
  2. Hover over the price scale (right edge).
  3. Click the + icon next to the price level to create the alert instantly (the marker appears on the chart).
  4. You can track the alert directly on the chart.
  5. To modify, simply drag and drop the alert marker on the chart.
  6. You can also delete the alert from the chart itself.

Method 2 — Right-click on the chart

  1. Open the chart for the symbol.
  2. Right-click the chart → select Create Alert.
  3. You’ll be redirected to the alert creation page (same as Web). Choose Type (LTP / Open / High / Low / Close), set the Condition and Value, add note, and save.

Manage

  1. On charts, drag-and-drop the alert marker to change the trigger level.
  2. Right-click the marker to edit or delete the alert.
  3. Or open the Web alerts page to manage all alerts centrally.

What if…

Alert didn’t triggerConfirm the selected Type (LTP vs OHLC). For example, a High-based alert won’t trigger if the day’s High didn’t reach your value. Also confirm the condition (>, ≥, <, ≤).
Can’t edit an alertTriggered/expired alerts may be non-editable. Create a new alert or use the alerts list to duplicate settings.
Alert not visibleCheck you are on the same platform/account. On Trader, ensure the alert layer/marker is enabled on the chart. Use the Web alerts page to list all alerts.
Too many notificationsEdit the alert to tighten the condition or switch to a single OHLC reference (e.g., Close) instead of LTP.
