Closing Your FYERS account

How can I close my account with FYERS?

While we suggest keeping your trading account dormant for future trading opportunities, if you choose to close your FYERS trading and demat account, you can do so online:
  • Navigate: Click on the top left corner where your Name and Client ID appear.
  • Profile Access: From the dropdown, select 'Account details' to go to your profile.
  • Initiate Closure: Click on 'Close Account'.
  • Confirmation: If sure about the closure, select 'No, Thanks'.
  • Verification: Upload your signature and input the OTP you receive on your registered mobile number.
  • Completion: Post submission, your account will be closed within 7 working days. An acknowledgment will be sent to your registered Email ID.
Note: Ensure your account balance is ₹0. For verification, a signature image is required. If there are holdings, close all positions or give a Target DP ID for holdings transfer and provide a DIGITALLY SIGNED CMR copy. Aadhaar authentication is needed to e-sign the closure form.
For IL&FS Demat account closure, the procedure is offline. Complete the IL&FS Demat Closure Form and send it to the provided address:
