How To Apply for OFS in FYERS?
An Offer for Sale (OFS) lets you buy shares directly from company promoters at a fixed floor price. At FYERS, the OFS facility is available only via the FYERS OFS portal.
Steps to Apply for OFS
- Go to the FYERS OFS portal and log in with your FYERS credentials.
- Select an active OFS from the list of available opportunities.
- Review key details such as Floor Price, Minimum Bid Quantity, and other conditions. Then click Apply Now.
Enter the required details:
- Quantity
- Price (must be ≥ floor price)
- DP ID (linked to your FYERS account)
- Ensure you have sufficient balance in your trading account. If needed, use the Add Funds option.
- After submission, your bid will show as In Process until the OFS closes. If allotted, shares will be credited to your Demat account.
Retail Investor Participation
Retail investors are eligible to apply for OFS through FYERS if:
- They hold a valid Demat account.
- Their Demat account is linked with FYERS.
A reserved quota is usually available for retail investors, sometimes offered at a discount to the market price. Applying early on the OFS day increases the chances of allotment from this quota.
