How can I access Readymade and custom watchlists in FYERS?

You can access and switch between predefined and custom watchlists on FYERS using both the mobile app and the web platform. This allows you to keep track of market indices, sectors, or your personalized sets of instruments easily.

On FYERS App

Access a Readymade watchlist

  1. Open the FYERS App.
  2. Tap Watchlist from the bottom navigation bar.
  3. Tap the Readymade tab at the top.
  4. Select the required watchlist, such as Nifty 50, Nifty Bank, or another available list.

Access a custom watchlist

  1. From the Watchlist screen, tap My Watchlist.
  2. Your custom watchlists are displayed below the tab.
  3. Tap the required watchlist name to open it.

Create a custom watchlist

  1. Open the My Watchlist tab.
  2. Tap the watchlist management icon on the right.
  3. Tap + Create Watchlist.
  4. Enter a name for the watchlist.
  5. Tap Create.
  6. After the watchlist is created, tap Add symbol or use the search field to add instruments.

On FYERS Web

Access a Readymade watchlist

  1. Log in to FYERS Web.
  2. Open Watchlist from the top navigation bar.
  3. Click the Readymade tab in the Watchlist panel.
  4. Use the dropdown to select the required Readymade watchlist.

Access a custom watchlist

  1. Click the My Watchlist tab.
  2. Click the watchlist dropdown at the top of the panel.
  3. Select the custom watchlist you want to open.

Create a custom watchlist

  1. Open the My Watchlist tab.
  2. Click the + icon next to the watchlist dropdown.
  3. In the Create Watchlist window, enter a watchlist name.
  4. Click Create.
  5. After the watchlist is created, click Add symbol to add instruments.

On FYERS Trader

Access FYERS-provided and custom watchlists

  1. Open FYERS Trader.
  2. Click the current watchlist name at the top of the Watchlist panel.
  3. The watchlist dropdown displays both FYERS-provided lists and your custom lists.
  4. Select the required watchlist to open it.

FYERS-provided lists are displayed with a leading hyphen, for example - Nifty 50 or - BSE Sensex. Your custom watchlists are displayed without the leading hyphen.

Create a custom watchlist

  1. Click the current watchlist name to open the watchlist dropdown.
  2. Select Create new list....
  3. Enter a name in the Symbol list name field.
  4. Click Save.
  5. Once the new watchlist opens, click the + icon to add symbols.

What if...

I cannot find the Predefined tab on FYERS App or Web.The tab is now called Readymade. Open the Readymade tab to access FYERS-provided watchlists.
I see an error saying the watchlist name already exists.Enter a different watchlist name and create it again.
I cannot distinguish FYERS-provided lists from my custom lists on FYERS Trader.FYERS-provided watchlists appear with a leading hyphen in the dropdown, while custom watchlists appear without one.
My newly created watchlist is empty.This is expected for a new custom watchlist. Use Add symbol or the available symbol search option to add the instruments you want to track.
