How much time does it take to unpledge holdings?

If the request for unpledge of the holdings is received before 3:30 PM on working days, the holdings will be unpledged between 24-48 working hours.

Please note that the unpledge requests are not accepted after 3:30 PM.  However, on the next trading day, you can raise the same request but ensure it's done before 3.30 PM.

Note
1. Unpledge request will be processed only to the extent of unutilized pledged margin.
2. The unpledge request will be rejected if you’ve any open positions and the pledged margin is used for the same. You’ll need to infuse the required funds or square-off such positions before placing the unpledge request.
