How much historical data is available in FYERS Seasonality Screeners?

How much historical data is available in FYERS Seasonality Screeners?

FYERS Seasonality Screeners have historical data available from 1997. However, the amount of data available for each stock depends on its listing history.

A stock needs at least 4 years of historical data to appear in the Seasonality Screener results.

Example

Hyundai Motor India, listed in 2024, does not yet have 4 years of historical data, so it will not appear in the screener.

A stock such as Reliance Industries has a longer listing history, so more years of data can be available for seasonality analysis.

What does the No. of Years column mean?

The No. of Years column indicates the number of historical observations considered for each period displayed in the screener.

For example:

  • In the Monthly screener, if the September row shows No. of Years as 10, the seasonality metrics for September are calculated using September's performance across 10 historical years.
  • In the Quarterly screener, if a quarter shows No. of Years as 10, the seasonality metrics for that quarter are calculated using the same quarter's performance across 10 historical years.
