How many years of historical data does Seasonality Insights use?

Seasonality Insights considers up to 30 years of historical data to analyse seasonal patterns across stocks, indices, ETFs, and commodities. The number of years included depends on the instrument’s listing history.
For example, since NIFTY 50 has more than 30 years of trading history, its seasonality analysis is based on the most recent 30 years of data.

Using a longer historical period helps provide a broader view of seasonal trends and their consistency across market cycles.

For example, since Kalyan Jewellers was listed in 2021, its seasonality analysis is based on the available data from 2021 onwards.
