How Does the Sticky Order Window Setting Work in FYERS?

The Sticky Order Window is a preference that allows you to keep the order panel fixed on your screen while you navigate across the FYERS platform. This helps if you place multiple trades on the same symbol or prefer not to reopen the order panel every time you change screens.

Feature Overview

By default, the order panel resets or closes when you move to another section or symbol. Enabling Sticky Order Window keeps the panel pinned in place with the same symbol and state until you manually close it.

This feature is particularly useful when you:

  • Place frequent trades on the same instrument
  • Monitor quantities or price movements before confirming orders
  • Prefer to keep the trading context visible while browsing other parts of the platform

Steps to Enable Sticky Order Window

On FYERS App

  1. Open the FYERS App and log in.
  2. Tap the Menu (☰) icon → Settings → Order Window.
  3. Find Sticky Order Window.
  4. Toggle ON to keep the order panel fixed while navigating.
  5. Toggle OFF to let it reset automatically when switching screens.

On FYERS Web

  1. Log in to https://fyers.in/web.
  2. Click on the profile and then click Settings.
  3. From the left panel, go to Order Window.
  4. Locate Sticky Order Window.
  5. Toggle ON to pin the order panel in place.
  6. Toggle OFF if you want the panel to reset when moving between screens.
Tip: Enable Sticky Order Window during high-volatility or quick trades to keep the panel ready without reopening it each time.
Important: Manually closing the order panel will dismiss it immediately even if Sticky Order Window is ON. The sticky state also resets after page refresh or session timeout.
