How Does the Reset Settings Option Work in FYERS?

The Reset Settings option lets you revert configuration preferences back to FYERS defaults. It is helpful when you have customised Charts, Order Window, News, Scalper Terminal, or General preferences and want to start fresh. Reset applies instantly and affects only the section you are viewing. It does not impact your watchlists, holdings, or trade history.

Reset is Available in the Following Sections

  • General
  • Order Window
  • Scalper Terminal (Web only)
  • Charts
  • News

Clicking Reset in any of these panels clears your saved preferences for that panel and restores FYERS defaults. Examples include disabled or enabled toggles, standard chart views, and default order configurations.

Steps to Reset Your Settings

On FYERS App

  1. Open the FYERS App and log in.
  2. Tap the Menu (☰) icon → Settings.
  3. Select the section you want to reset (General, Order Window, Charts, or News).
  4. Scroll to find the Reset button and tap it.
  5. Confirm when prompted.

On FYERS Web

  1. Log in to https://fyers.in/web.
  2. Click your profile icon (top-right) → Settings.
  3. From the left panel, open the section you want to reset (General, Order Window, Scalper Terminal, Charts, or News).
  4. Click Reset. The button is usually at the bottom or top-right of the panel.
  5. Confirm when prompted.
Tip: Capture your current preferences or take screenshots before you reset. This makes it easier to reapply your custom setup later.
Important: Reset cannot be undone. You will need to reconfigure your preferences manually after using it.
