The Reset Settings option in FYERS lets you revert all configuration preferences back to their default state. This is useful if you've made changes to your settings across charts, orders, news, or the Scalper Terminal and want to start fresh with the platform's default layout and behavior.
Reset applies instantly and affects only the section you're viewing—not the entire platform unless you reset each section individually.
Feature overview
The Reset button is available in these panels:
- Order Window
- Scalper Terminal
- Charts
- News
Clicking it clears your saved preferences in that section and restores FYERS defaults—such as disabled toggles, default chart views, and order settings.
This does not affect your watchlists, holdings, or trade history—only preference settings.
Steps to reset your settings
- Click the gear icon or open Settings from the top-right menu.
- Navigate to the specific section you want to reset (e.g., Charts or Scalper Terminal).
- Look for the Reset button in the bottom or top-right area.
- Click Reset and confirm when prompted.
All preferences for that panel will immediately return to their original default values.
What happens after resetting

Warning: Reset cannot be undone. You’ll need to reconfigure your preferences manually after using it.
