How Does FIA Analyse My Current Chart and Timeframe?
FIA analyses your selected stock or index and timeframe by combining predefined technical models with its AI insight engine. It reviews price action, indicators, volume, patterns and user drawings to create a clear summary for that specific view.
How does FIA analyse my current chart and timeframe?
When you run FIA on a chart or stock view, it evaluates multiple technical inputs together instead of focusing on a single indicator. This helps you understand the overall structure and strength of the current move rather than isolated signals.
FIA typically analyses the following:
- Price structure and range: Current level, intraday band, breakout or breakdown zones.
- Support and resistance: System-detected zones along with levels you have drawn on the chart.
- Moving averages: Position and relationship of MA20, MA50, MA100 and MA200.
- Momentum indicators: Signals from RSI, MACD and the Ultimate Oscillator.
- Trend strength: ADX readings and the balance between DI+ and DI−.
- Volume behaviour: Current volume versus average volume and whether participation is strong or weak.
- Candlestick patterns: For example, Doji, Hammer, Engulfing, Three Outside and Inside Bar formations.
- Chart patterns: Consolidation, range-bound action, swings and potential reversal structures.
- User drawings: Trendlines, support and resistance levels and swing markers added by you.
- 52-week context: Placement of the current price versus the 52-week high and low.
- Overall sentiment: A combined interpretation of trend, momentum, volume and structure.
Based on these inputs, FIA maps the technical picture to its insight library and generates an easy-to-read narrative that is specific to your selected timeframe.

What If...
| Scenario | Solution |
|---|
| FIA mentions indicators that are not visible on my chart | FIA reads indicator data internally; add the same indicators manually or via FIA actions if you want to see them on the chart. |
| Support or resistance levels differ from what I have drawn | FIA combines its own levels with your drawings; delete or adjust your lines to see how the system levels change. |
| The signals look mixed or conflicting | Use FIA’s commentary as a reflection of current uncertainty and review trend, momentum and volume sections together instead of relying on one line. |
| The analysis does not refresh after a big price move | Click 'Reanalyse' to refresh and reanalyse the chart. |
