How does a multiplier work in basket orders?

How does a multiplier work in basket orders?

Multiplier is a basket-only feature on the FYERS App, FYERS Web, and FYERS Trader. It scales the quantity of every order in the basket by the number you choose. Prices, side (Buy or Sell), order type, and product do not change. Funds required updates automatically.

Where it works

  • FYERS App → Orders → Baskets
  • FYERS Web → Orders → Baskets
  • FYERS Trader → Basket Orders icon

What it does

  • Multiplies the quantity of each basket item by the factor you set.
  • Keeps side, price, order type, and product the same.
  • Recalculates Funds req. for the whole basket.
  • Example: If a basket has 2 Qty and 2,000 Qty, setting Multiplier to 2 changes them to 4 Qty and 4,000 Qty.

How to use Multiplier

FYERS App

  1. Open your basket in Orders → Baskets.
  2. Turn on Enable Multiplier.
  3. Use the and + buttons to pick a whole number (1, 2, 3, …).
  4. Review Funds req. vs Funds avl. and tap Execute.

FYERS Trader

  1. Click the Basket Orders icon on the top bar.
  2. Open your basket.
  3. Enable Multiplier at the top of the basket window.
  4. Use the  and + controls to choose the multiplier value.
  5. Review Funds req. and click Execute.

FYERS Web

  1. Go to Orders → Baskets and open your basket.
  2. Enable the Multiplier option at the top of the basket.
  3. Use the  and + controls to set the multiplier value.
  4. Check the updated Funds req. and click Execute.

Note: Setting Multiplier back to 1 shows your original quantities. Turning it off keeps your base basket unchanged.
Important: Large multiplied quantities may breach exchange limits or available funds and can get rejected. Reduce the factor or quantities and try again.
Note: Buy orders are executed first, followed by sell orders.
