How does a Multiplier work in Basket Orders?

How does a Multiplier work in Basket Orders?

The Multiplier in Basket Orders helps you scale all order quantities in a basket at once. Instead of editing each leg manually, you can increase or reduce the multiplier value and review the updated quantities before executing the basket.

For example, if your basket has:

  • UCO Bank: Buy 1 Qty
  • Central Bank of India: Buy 1 Qty
  • IDBI Bank: Buy 1 Qty

If you set the Multiplier to 3, each order quantity becomes 3 Qty.

The basket’s Funds Required value is recalculated based on the multiplied quantities before execution.

ScenarioWhat you can do
I want to multiply only a few orders in the basket.Keep the Multiplier disabled and manually edit the quantities of only those orders. The Multiplier applies to all orders in the basket.
One or more orders are rejected after using Multiplier.Check the rejected order reason, revise the basket if required, and place the order again after reviewing the updated quantity and funds requirement.
I want to reuse the multiplied setup later.Update the order quantities manually in the basket after reviewing the setup you want to reuse.
