How do pre-built strategies work?

Pre-built strategies in FYERS are ready-made options strategy templates available in Options Strategy Builder. They include predefined option legs that you can review and customise before proceeding.

Accessing pre-built strategies

Pre-built strategies are available on both FYERS App and FYERS Web.

FYERS App

  1. Log in to the FYERS App.
  2. Tap Options from the bottom menu.
  3. Go to the Tools section.
  4. Tap Pre-built Strategies.

FYERS Web

  1. Log in to FYERS Web.
  2. Click Options from the top menu.
  3. Select Strategy Builder.
  4. Open Pre-built Strategies.

Using pre-built strategies

After opening Pre-built Strategies, select or search for the required scrip. On FYERS Web, you can filter strategies using All, Bullish, Bearish, Neutral, or Any Direction, or use the Search field to find a specific strategy.

Each strategy card shows key details such as the strategy name, market outlook, payoff representation, description, maximum profit, and when it is typically used.

Select a strategy to open it in Options Strategy Builder, where you can review its legs, strikes, expiry, buy or sell side, lot size, profit and loss, margin requirement, and other available analytics.

You can modify the strikes, expiry, buy or sell side, or lot size as required. Once you change the predefined legs, the strategy is treated as a custom strategy.
