How Do Mobile App Notifications Work, and How Do I Set Them Up?

Mobile app notification is an action in Automate that sends a push notification to your mobile device when an automation reaches a specific step. It helps you receive real-time updates about automation events without actively monitoring the platform.

This action is informational only and does not place, modify, or cancel any orders.

How do Mobile app notifications work?

When a mobile app notification action node is executed:

  • A push notification is sent to your mobile device.
  • The notification includes an Alert title and an Alert description that you configure.
  • The automation continues to the next connected node after sending the notification.
  • No trading or account-related action is performed by this node.

Follow these steps when building a new automation from scratch.

  • Log in to FYERS Web and go to Automate → Dashboard.

  • Click the notification node to open Edit node configuration.
  • Enter the following details:
    • Alert title – The heading shown in the push notification.
    • Alert description – The message content of the push notification.
  • Click Apply to save the configuration.
