How do I unauthorise holdings in FYERS?

When you authorise holdings in FYERS, you allow the selected shares to be debited from your Demat account if a sell order is placed and executed. If you do not want to sell your holdings after authorising them, you can unauthorise the holdings, subject to the applicable conditions.

Before you unauthorise holdings, ensure the following:

  • At least 20 minutes have passed after authorising the holdings.
  • There is no pending sell order against the authorised holdings.
  • If a pending sell order exists, cancel the order before unauthorising the holdings.
  • You need your CDSL TPIN and OTP to verify the unauthorisation request.

Steps to unauthorise holdings

FYERS App

  1. Open the FYERS App.
  2. Go to Portfolio.
  3. Open Holdings.
  4. Tap Unauthorise.
  5. Select the authorised stock or holding you want to unauthorise.
  6. The CDSL Unauthorisation screen opens.
  7. Tap Submit to continue to the CDSL unauthorisation flow.
  8. Enter your TPIN and OTP.
  9. Verify the request to complete the unauthorisation.

FYERS Web

  1. Log in to FYERS Web.
  2. Go to Portfolio.
  3. Open Holdings.
  4. Click Unathorise from the top-right side of the Holdings screen. 
  5. Select the authorised stock or holding you want to unauthorise.
  6. The CDSL screen opens.
  7. Click Submit to continue to the CDSL unauthorisation flow.
  8. Enter your TPIN and OTP.
  9. Verify the request to complete the unauthorisation.

FYERS Trader

  1. Log in to FYERS Trader.
  2. Open the account or menu options from the top-right side of the screen.
  3. Click Holding Aauthorisation.
  4. Click Unathorise
  5. Select the authorised stock or holding you want to unauthorise.
  6. Click Unauthorise.
  7. The CDSL Unauthorisation screen opens.
  8. Click Submit to continue to the CDSL unauthorisation flow.
  9. Enter your TPIN and OTP.
  10. Verify the request to complete the unauthorisation.
