How do I track market indices in FYERS?
The Holdings panel in the FYERS Markets Home tab gives you a real-time snapshot of your investment portfolio—across stocks and mutual funds. It helps you quickly assess performance, capital deployment, and returns without switching tabs.
What the Holdings section shows
Positioned just below the Market Overview panel on the Markets Home tab, the Holdings section displays:
- Stocks and Mutual Funds Tabs: Toggle between equity and mutual fund holdings.
- Invested Value: The total capital invested so far.
- Current Value: Live market value of your existing holdings.
- Profit and Loss (P&L): Absolute and percentage returns in real-time.
If you don’t hold any investments yet, the panel will suggest starting your investment journey.
How to access your holdings
- Log in to FYERS on Web or Mobile app.
- From the default Markets tab, locate the Holdings panel on the right.
- Switch between Stocks and Mutual Funds using the tabs.
- Click on “View Holdings” to open the detailed holdings screen with filters and breakdowns.
What If
| Situation | What to do |
|---|
| Holdings panel shows 0 or is blank | You may not have any active investments, or the data is syncing—wait a moment and refresh the page |
| Wrong values or missing funds | Click on the the panel to view the full holdings page for a complete breakdown |
| Only one tab (e.g., Stocks) is visible | The panel shows only categories with active holdings—mutual fund data appears only if you’ve invested |
Tip: Use “View Holdings” to open your full investment list with performance charts and sorting options.
