How do I switch the chart to Daily, Weekly, or Monthly and choose FII or DII?
Use the controls in the FII/DII activity module to change the time view and pick which participants to show.
You can switch the bars to Daily, Weekly, or Monthly and display Both, FII only, or DII only.
Explanation
- Daily/Weekly/Monthly controls how the bars are grouped.
- The Date range (for example, Last 30 days or Last 12 months) controls how far back you see data.
- Participants lets you show Both FII & DII, FII only, or DII only.
Color cues: FYERS uses blue bars for FII cash, brown bars for DII cash, and a thin dark blue line for the selected index.
FYERS Web
Path: Markets → Analytics → FII/DII activity
- Switch time view: click Daily, Weekly, or Monthly at the top-right of the chart.
- Adjust date range: open the date dropdown (for example, Last 30 days) to widen or narrow the period.
- Choose participants: open Participants and select Both FII & DII, FII only, or DII only.
- (Optional) Performance line: pick an index in Performance (Nifty 50, BSE SENSEX, Nifty Bank, etc.).
FYERS App
Path: Markets → Analytics → FII/DII Activity
- Switch time view: tap Daily, Weekly, or Monthly at the top.
- Adjust date range: tap the range (for example, Last 12 months) to pick FYs or Custom Date.
- Choose participants: tap the filter icon → Participants → select Both FII & DII, FII only, or DII only → Apply. Use Reset to clear.
- (Optional) Performance line: in Preferences, open Performance and choose the index.
Notes
- Changing Daily/Weekly/Monthly affects grouping; use Date range to change how far back you view.
- To change what you analyse (Cash vs F&O vs OI), use Segment. Cash lets you compare FII vs DII.
What if…
| Solution | What to do |
|---|
| Weekly/Monthly looks the same as Daily | Expand the Date range (for example, Last 12 months) so grouping has enough data to show weekly or monthly bars. |
| Still seeing both colors after choosing FII only | On Web, set Participants to FII only. On App, open Preferences → Participants, pick FII only, then Apply. |
