How do I square off all open positions for a particular underlying in the Scalper Terminal?
During fast-moving market conditions, it’s essential to act quickly. Fyers Scalper Terminal allows you to square off all open positions for a specific symbol with just one action—helping you manage risk and exit trades more efficiently.
How to square off all positions for one symbol
- Go to the Positions tab in the Fyers Scalper Terminal.
- Find and select the underlying symbol you want to act on.
- Click on the Exit {symbol} button available below the charts.
This action will simultaneously close all open trades for that selected symbol.
What if...?
| Scenario | Explanation |
|---|
| What if I only want to close one position, not all? | You can manually square off individual positions instead of using the bulk action. |
| What if the square-off fails? | Network latency or order execution issues may cause failure. Check your internet connection and retry. If the issue persists, reach out to FYERS Support. |
| Can I undo a square-off? | No, once the square-off order is executed, it cannot be reversed. |
Use this feature cautiously during high volatility. While it enables quick exits, ensure you truly want to exit all positions for that symbol before clicking.
