What is FYERS MCP?
FYERS MCP (Model Context Protocol) allows AI platforms to access your trading data—such as positions, trades, GTTs, option chains, and alerts—so they can respond with accurate, personalised insights. It eliminates the need for manual setup or data transfers. Once connected, Claude can answer questions like “What’s my P&L this week?” or “Which sector am I most exposed to?” based on your real FYERS account context.
Steps to install FYERS MCP for Mac and Windows
What if I already have Claude Desktop installed?
You don’t need to uninstall Claude. The MCP installer will detect your existing Claude Desktop setup and connect it with FYERS:
- Ensure Claude Desktop is updated before running the installer.
- After installation, just restart Claude and log in to sync with your FYERS context.
You only need to authorise FYERS MCP once per device. Reinstalls or updates may prompt re-authentication.
