What is FYERS MCP?

FYERS MCP (Model Context Protocol) allows AI platforms to access your trading data, such as positions, trades, GTTs, option chains, and alerts, so they can respond with accurate, personalised insights. It eliminates the need for manual setup or data transfers. Once connected, Claude can answer questions like “What’s my P&L this week?” or “Which sector am I most exposed to?” based on your real FYERS account context.

Steps to install FYERS MCP for Mac and Windows

  • Download the appropriate installer:
    • .pkg for Mac 
    • .exe for Windows
  • Run the installer. It will install both Node.js and Claude Desktop if not already present.
  • Launch Claude Desktop after installation.
  • Log in using your FYERS credentials.
  • Authorise MCP when prompted. Your FYERS context is now synced—no additional setup required.

What if I already have Claude Desktop installed?

You don’t need to uninstall Claude. The MCP installer will detect your existing Claude Desktop setup and connect it with FYERS:
