How do I customise Quick Trade shortcut preferences in FYERS Scalper Terminal?

The Scalper Terminal in FYERS lets you place orders instantly using keyboard shortcuts, without opening the order window or requiring confirmation. This high-speed setup is ideal for traders who rely on precision and speed during intraday or scalping strategies.

Feature overview

Quick Trade in the Scalper Terminal is a user-defined setting that allows you to bypass the order window when placing trades. Once enabled, pressing a shortcut key or clicking Buy/Sell executes the order instantly using predefined values—without manual confirmation.

This behaviour only applies inside the Scalper Terminal and is meant for advanced traders who prefer speed over prompts.

Steps to enable and customise Quick Trade

  • Click the gear icon on the Scalper Terminal, or use the Settings dropdown from the top-right corner.
  • In the left-hand menu, select Scalper Terminal.
  • Turn on the toggle for Quick trades mode with shortcuts.
  • Optionally enable or disable:
    • Customisation – set product type, price type, trigger, and position sizing (% of funds to be used per order)
    • Heads-up messages – show/hide trade action prompts
    • Use Reset to restore default Scalper settings
  • Once enabled, use supported shortcuts:
    • Shift + Up Arrow: Buy CE
    • Shift + Down Arrow: Buy PE
    • Shift + Left Arrow: Sell CE
    • Shift + Right Arrow: Sell PE
