How do I close positions placed using Quick Trade settings in FYERS?

Positions placed using Quick Trade on FYERS Trader (https://trade.fyers.in/) can be closed from the Positions tab or directly from the chart. Since Quick Trade commonly uses Cover Orders (CO) and Bracket Orders (BO), these positions have specific exit requirements.

Ways to Close Quick Trade Positions

From the chart: Open the symbol’s chart and use the on-chart exit to square off the position.

Note: If you're exiting a Cover Order (CO) or Bracket Order (BO), always use the Positions tab or the chart to exit. Counter orders (e.g., placing a sell against an open buy) won't close these trades due to order linkage rules in the OMS. If your trade has SL/Target legs, refer to this article to understand how they're set.

Tip: Exiting from the Positions tab ensures linked Stop Loss and Target legs in BO/CO are cancelled automatically in the correct sequence.
