How do I calculate the funding amount and the margin paid?

You can check how much of your MTF position is funded by FYERS and how much amount is contributed from your side from the Funds section on FYERS. This helps you understand the total MTF position value, the amount funded by FYERS, and the amount used from your available balance.

If you want to check the margin required for a specific stock, you can view it while placing an MTF buy order for that stock.

Please note that the Cash Intraday/MTF Margin field is not limited only to MTF. It can also include margin used for equity intraday positions.
