How do I authorise my holdings before selling in FYERS?
To sell delivery holdings on FYERS, you must authorise the sell quantity using your TPIN and an OTP verification.
You can authorise while placing a sell order or pre-authorise from Holdings > Authorisation. This guide covers FYERS App, FYERS Web, and FYERS Trader.
How authorisation works
- You verify the sell quantity using your TPIN and an OTP sent to your registered mobile number and email.
- Authorise from the Sell order window (single stock) or from Holdings > Authorisation (single or multiple stocks).
- Not required if DDPI is active or POA is submitted.
- Authorisations are valid only for the same trading day.
- GTT sell orders for you holdings aren’t supported with TPIN authorisation. To place GTT sells, enable DDPI. Activate DDPI
- If you don’t have a TPIN or you forgot it, use Forgot TPIN in the flow to generate a new one. To know the process, kindly refer to this article.
