How Do I Activate DDPI on FYERS (Online and Offline)?

Demat Debit and Pledge Instruction (DDPI) can be activated on FYERS through two modes: online using Aadhaar-based e-Sign and offline by submitting a signed physical form. Online activation is free and faster, while offline activation carries a one-time charge of ₹150. Below are the detailed steps for both methods, along with common troubleshooting scenarios.

Activate DDPI Online

You can activate DDPI online using either the FYERS App or Web. The process is fully digital and typically gets completed within 24 to 48 working hours. DDPI activation is a one-time process, and once enabled, it is valid across all FYERS platforms.

On FYERS App

  1. Log in to the FYERS App.
  2. Open the menu (☰) and tap My Profile.
  3. Go to Segments.
  4. Select Demat Debit and Pledge Instruction (DDPI) and tap Activate.
  5. Complete the Aadhaar-based e-Sign process through Digio.

On FYERS Web

  1. Log in at FYERS Web.
  2. Click your profile icon and select Profile.
  3. Go to the Segments tab.
  4. Locate the Demat Debit and Pledge Instruction (DDPI) and click Activate.
  5. Click Proceed to e-Sign.
  6. Enter Aadhaar number or Virtual ID on the Digio screen.
  7. Click Get OTP and complete the e-Sign.

Once the e-Sign is successful, DDPI gets activated within 24 to 48 working hours.

Online activation is free and the quickest way to enable DDPI on your account.

Activate DDPI Offline

You can activate DDPI offline by submitting a signed physical form. The processing time is up to 7 working days. This is also a one-time process and applies across all FYERS platforms once completed.

  1. Download and print the DDPI Form.
  2. Fill in the details and sign the form.
  3. Courier the completed form to:

Charges: ₹150, which covers stamp duty and processing. The amount is debited from your trading account once activation begins.

Your mobile number must be linked to Aadhaar for online activation. If it is not linked, the e-Sign will fail every time.
