How do I place and manage an order in Option Scalper?
FYERS Option Scalper lets you place option orders and track your positions from the same workspace on FYERS Web. You can select an option contract, set the quantity, place a Buy or Sell order, and manage the executed position directly from the chart.
You can also monitor your positions and order statuses from the bottom panel without leaving the Option Scalper screen.
How to place an order in Option Scalper
Log in to FYERS Web.
Click Scalper in the top-right corner of the screen.
Select the required underlying, expiry, strike price, and option contract.
Turn on the Scalper toggle.
Select or enter the required order quantity.
Review the selected strike, quantity, transaction side, order details, and approximate margin.
Click the relevant button:
Buy CE or Sell CE for a Call option.
Buy PE or Sell PE for a Put option.
Once the order is executed, you can track the position directly on the Option Scalper screen.
When the Scalper toggle is enabled, clicking a Buy or Sell button submits the order immediately without opening the regular order window. Verify the contract, side, quantity, order details, and Requmargin before placing the order.
How to set a Stop-Loss and Target
Once the order is executed and the position line appears on the chart, hover your cursor over the position line to display the SL and TP controls, then drag the respective line to the required price level.
How to track positions and orders
Use the bottom panel of the Option Scalper screen to view and track your trading activity:
Positions: View your open and closed positions, quantity, average price, LTP, and P&L details.
Orders: Check whether an order is open, executed, cancelled, rejected, or pending.
Holdings: View the holdings available in your account.
Funds: Review the fund-related details available in your account.

Solution
The position line is not visible on the chart
Check whether the entry order has been executed and whether the position is still open. You can verify this from the Positions and Orders tabs.
The SL or TP controls are not visible
Confirm that the order is executed and hover your cursor over the position line on the chart.
A Stop-Loss or Target order is rejected
Open the Orders tab and review the rejection reason before placing the order again.
The modified SL or TP level is not reflected
Refresh the Orders tab and check whether the order is open, pending, executed, cancelled, or rejected.
A position is not visible in the bottom panel
Check the selected filter under the Positions tab. Switch between All, Open, and Closed.
You want to verify whether an order was placed successfully
Open the Orders tab and check the latest order status before placing another order.
The P&L value keeps changing
P&L values may change with market movement. Verify the latest LTP, position quantity, and order status.
