You can update the buy average price either from the Portfolio section or through the Transferred Holdings report.
Keep the original purchase details of the transferred holding handy. You will need the following information:
If you are unsure about the original purchase price or date, refer to your previous broker's records or the applicable CAS (Consolidated Account Statement) before submitting the details.
You can update the buy average directly from your holdings:
If the displayed buy average is already correct, select Accept instead of updating it.
You can also update the purchase details from the Transferred Holdings report:
After the purchase details are submitted and confirmed, the updated buy average may take approximately 2–3 trading days to reflect in your FYERS account.

| The displayed buy average is incorrect. | Select Update and enter the correct buy date, quantity, and buy price. |
| You do not know the original buy price. | Check your previous broker's transaction reports or applicable CAS before entering and confirming the details. |
| The displayed buy average is already correct. | Select Accept to confirm the displayed value. |
| The updated value is not visible immediately. | Allow approximately 2–3 trading days for the changes to reflect. |
| The buy price was confirmed with incorrect details. | Once confirmed, the buy price cannot be modified or edited later. Review all acquisition details carefully before confirmation. |
