How can I place an order or view charts directly from the Options Chain?
FYERS makes it seamless to place trades and analyze price action directly from the Options Chain. Whether you're acting on LTP data or comparing contracts side by side, the platform offers fast access to execution and advanced charting—all in one place.
Quick trade actions from the chain
- In the Options Chain view, locate the strike price you're interested in.
- Hover over the call or put side of the desired strike.
- Click directly on the LTP or anywhere within the cell.
A trade panel will appear with the following options:
- Buy: Opens the buy order window pre-filled with the selected option.
- Sell: Opens the sell order window pre-filled with the selected option.
- Chart: Launches the advanced chart for that specific contract.
These are available on both sides of the strike, so you can act on CE or PE individually.
Viewing advanced charts for the underlying
- Look for the chart icon in the top-right corner of the Options Chain interface.
- Clicking this opens the advanced charting module with all drawing tools, indicators, and comparison overlays.
This is useful for conducting technical analysis before placing your trade.
Adding to watchlist
- To monitor a specific option contract without placing an order:
- Click the bookmark icon in the strike’s quick panel (next to Buy/Sell).
- The contract is added to your Watchlist for future tracking.
Charts launched from the Options Chain support one-click access to overlays, indicators, and drawing tools—ideal for pre-trade planning.
