How can I place an order or view charts directly from the Options Chain?
FYERS makes it seamless to trade and analyse options contracts directly from the Options Chain. Whether you're acting on LTP data or comparing contracts side-by-side, you can access fast trade execution and advanced charting — all in one place.
Trading actions from the chain
On Web
- In the Options Chain view, locate your desired strike price.
- Hover over the Call (CE) or Put (PE) side.
- Click directly on the LTP or anywhere inside the price cell.
A trade panel appears with options to:
- Buy – Opens a pre-filled Buy order window.
- Sell – Opens a pre-filled Sell order window.
- Chart – Launches the advanced chart for that contract.
Shortcuts are available for both CE and PE contracts.
On Mobile App
Viewing advanced charts for the underlying
On Web
- Click the chart icon at the top-right of the Options Chain page.
- The advanced charting module opens with drawing tools, overlays, and indicators.On Mobile App
- Tap View option chart in a contract’s quick actions menu.
- Tap View underlying chart to open the base stock/index chart.
- Both charts support overlays, indicators, and mobile-friendly drawing tools.
Charts launched from the Options Chain provide one-click access to overlays, indicators, and drawing tools—ideal for pre-trade planning.
What if...

| Nothing happens when clicking/tapping a strike | Ensure the correct tab (Price or Custom) is selected and you are logged in. |
| Need the underlying’s chart instead of the option | On Web, use the top-right chart icon. On Mobile, choose View underlying chart in the quick menu. |
| Buy/Sell panel not visible | On Web, try hovering and clicking again or refresh. On Mobile, ensure the LTP cell was tapped, not the strike number. |
