How Can I Modify, Pause, Resume, Skip, or Cancel an SIP?

After creating a Systematic Investment Plan (SIP), you can manage it anytime based on your investment requirements. You can update SIP details, temporarily pause instalments, skip an upcoming instalment, resume a paused SIP, or cancel the SIP altogether.

Steps to Modify an SIP

On FYERS App

  1. Log in to the FYERS App.
  2. Tap Orders from the bottom navigation bar.
  3. Select Mutual Funds → SIP.
  4. Open the SIP and tap Modify.
  5. Update the SIP amount, SIP date, or bank account.
  6. Confirm the changes and approve the AutoPay mandate again, if prompted.

On FYERS Web

  1. Log in to FYERS Web.
  2. Go to Orders → Mutual Funds → SIP.
  3. Open the SIP and click Modify.
  4. Update the SIP amount, SIP date, or bank account.
  5. Confirm the changes and approve the AutoPay mandate again, if prompted.

Steps to Pause an SIP

On FYERS App

  1. Open the SIP from Orders → Mutual Funds → SIP.
  2. Tap Pause.
  3. Choose one of the following options:
  • Pause for a fixed number of instalments
  • Pause indefinitely
  1. Confirm to pause the SIP.

On FYERS Web

  1. Open the SIP from Orders → Mutual Funds → SIP.
  2. Click Pause.
  3. Choose one of the following options:
  • Pause for a fixed number of instalments (auto-resumes)
  • Pause indefinitely (manual resume required)
  1. Confirm to pause the SIP.

Steps to Resume a Paused SIP

On FYERS App

  1. Open the paused SIP from Orders → Mutual Funds → SIP.
  2. Tap Resume.
  3. Confirm to resume future instalments as scheduled.

On FYERS Web

  1. Open the paused SIP from Orders → Mutual Funds → SIP.
  2. Click Resume.
  3. Confirm to resume future instalments as scheduled.

Steps to Skip an SIP Instalment

On FYERS App

  1. Open the SIP from Orders → Mutual Funds → SIP.
  2. Tap Skip instalment for the upcoming instalment.
  3. Confirm to skip the instalment.

On FYERS Web

  1. Open the SIP from Orders → Mutual Funds → SIP.
  2. Click Skip instalment for the upcoming instalment.
  3. Confirm to skip the instalment.

Steps to Cancel an SIP

On FYERS App

  1. Open the SIP from Orders → Mutual Funds → SIP.
  2. Tap Cancel SIP.
  3. Select a reason for cancellation and confirm.

On FYERS Web

  1. Open the SIP from Orders → Mutual Funds → SIP.
  2. Click Cancel SIP.
  3. Select a reason for cancellation and confirm.
Modifying an SIP requires AutoPay re-approval, pausing can be temporary or indefinite, skipping applies only to the next instalment, and cancelled SIPs cannot be resumed.
