How can I filter symbols in my FYERS Watchlist?

Filtering helps you focus on the symbols that matter by limiting the list to specific exchanges and sorting it the way you prefer. Follow the steps for web or mobile below.

Filter symbols on App

  1. Go to Watchlist and open any tab: My watchlistPredefined, or Smart watchlist.
  2. Tap the watchlist header’s ⋮ (more) and choose Filter (on some screens, a bottom sheet opens with a Filter row).
  3. On the Filter screen:
    • Exchanges: toggle NSEBSEMCX.
    • Sort by: CustomAdded dateAlphabeticalLTPChange% Change.
  4. Tap Apply to use the selection or Reset to clear it.

Filter symbols on Web

  1. Open the Watchlist tab.
  2. Next to the selected watchlist name, click the ⋮ (three dots).
  3. Choose Filter.
  4. In the panel:
    • Exchanges: tick one or more of NSE, BSE, MCX.
    • Sort by: Custom (manual order), Added date, Alphabetical, LTP (last traded price), Change (absolute), % Change (percentage move).

Tip: If you don’t see the filter, make sure you clicked the next to the watchlist name (not a symbol row).

Filter symbols on FYERS Trader

Filtering helps you focus on the symbols that matter by controlling which columns are visible and how the list is sorted.

To filter or sort:

  1. Hover over any column header — such as Last, Change, or Chg%.
  2. Click once to sort ascending, click again to reverse.
A tooltip appears: “Click to sort by [Column Name] ↑/↓” showing current order.
  3. Click the ⋮ (three dots) next to the column headers to open filter options.
  4. In the filter menu, tick or untick the columns you want to show:
    • Last
    • Change
    • Change %
    • Volume
Tip: Sorting applies only to visible columns. Hidden ones won’t affect the order.
