How can I enable DDPI for a minor account in FYERS?

If the Demat account holder is a minor, DDPI (Demat Debit and Pledge Instruction) cannot be activated online. In such cases, you must complete the offline process to authorize DDPI. This ensures that all regulatory requirements for minors are properly documented before DDPI is enabled.

Steps to Enable DDPI for a Minor

  1. Undertaking Form
    • Fill out the Undertaking Form (attached below).
    • This must be signed by the guardian on behalf of the minor.
    • Ensure that all details match the KYC records of both the minor and the guardian.
  2. DDPI Form
    • Complete the DDPI Activation Form (attached below).
    • The form must be signed by the guardian registered with FYERS.
  3. Courier the Forms
    • Send the duly filled and signed forms to the FYERS registered office address:
    FYERS Securities Pvt. Ltd.
225, 14th Cross Rd, Rahmath Nagar, RT Nagar,
    Bengaluru, Karnataka – 560032

Important: Ensure the KYC process for both the minor and guardian is completed before submitting the DDPI request.
The DDPI request is processed within 4–5 working days after receipt and verification of documents. An offline processing fee of ₹150 (including stamp duty and taxes) will be deducted from your trading account.
