How can I dematerialize my mutual funds with FYERS?
Dematerialization, commonly known as "demat", is the process of converting physical certificates, be it shares or mutual funds, into a digital format stored in a Demat account. At FYERS, the procedure is straightforward. Here's a step-by-step guide:
Access Dematerialization Request Forms: Firstly, download the required forms from the official FYERS website. Dematerialization Request Forms can be accessed here. Filling in the Form:
Input your DP ID.
Ensure your name on the form matches with the name on your Demat account.
Sign in two specific columns:
Signature matching the DP.
Signature in line with RTA requirements.
Clearly mention the DRN & DRF numbers on the form.
Submission of Documents: Alongside two copies of the fully completed demat request form, you'll also need to provide:
One self-attested copy of your PAN card.
A self-attested copy of your mutual fund statement or the physical certificate in case of equities.
Providing Detailed Information: Fill in necessary details like holder's name, quantity, script name, folio number, certificate number, distinctive number, etc.
Document Dispatch: Once you've collated and completed all the required paperwork, mail them to:

Note: It's noteworthy that FYERS does not levy any charges for dematerialization on a per-certificate basis.
