Dematerializing Mutual Funds with FYERS

How can I dematerialize my mutual funds with FYERS?

Dematerialization, commonly known as "demat", is the process of converting physical certificates, be it shares or mutual funds, into a digital format stored in a Demat account. At FYERS, the procedure is straightforward. Here's a step-by-step guide:
  1. Access Dematerialization Request Forms: Firstly, download the required forms from the official FYERS website. Dematerialization Request Forms can be accessed here.
  2. Filling in the Form:
    1. Input your DP ID.
    2. Ensure your name on the form matches with the name on your Demat account.
  3. Sign in two specific columns:
    1. Signature matching the DP.
    2. Signature in line with RTA requirements.
    3. Clearly mention the DRN & DRF numbers on the form.
  4. Submission of Documents: Alongside two copies of the fully completed demat request form, you'll also need to provide:
    1. One self-attested copy of your PAN card.
    2. A self-attested copy of your mutual fund statement or the physical certificate in case of equities.
    3. Providing Detailed Information: Fill in necessary details like holder's name, quantity, script name, folio number, certificate number, distinctive number, etc.
  5. Document Dispatch: Once you've collated and completed all the required paperwork, mail them to:
