A Systematic Withdrawal Plan (SWP) allows you to withdraw a fixed amount from your existing mutual fund holdings at regular intervals. SWPs are created directly from mutual fund units you already hold and are commonly used to generate periodic cash flow while remaining invested.
How SWP Works
SWP can be created only from existing mutual fund holdings.
Withdrawals are set using a fixed amount.
SWP frequency can be Weekly, Monthly, or Quarterly.
Each SWP withdrawal is processed as a redemption from your mutual fund units.
Withdrawal proceeds are credited to your registered bank account as per the scheme’s settlement cycle.
