How can I close my account with FYERS?
While we suggest keeping your trading account dormant for future trading opportunities, if you choose to close your FYERS trading and demat account, you can do so online by following these steps.
Steps to close your account:
- Log in to your My Account via the app or web portal at app.fyers.in.
- Go to the Profile section.
- Open the Others tab and locate the Close Account section.
- Click Close and confirm the action.
- You will receive an OTP on your registered email or mobile number. Enter the OTP to confirm the closure.
- Once confirmed, your account will be closed within 3 working days. An acknowledgment will be sent to your registered Email ID.
Note: Ensure your account balance is ₹0, provide a signature image for verification, close all positions or provide a Target DP ID for holdings transfer, and submit a digitally signed CMR copy; Aadhaar authentication is required to e-sign the closure form, and once your account is closed, it cannot be reopened—if you wish to use the platform again, a new account must be created.
