How to Activate a Trading Segment

How can I activate a trading segment?

You can activate trading segments through the FYERS app or web portal in just a few steps. Available segments include Currency, Futures & Options (F&O), and Commodity.

Steps to activate a trading segment:

  1. Log in to your account via FYERS Web or App.

  2. Go to the Profile section.

  3. Select the Segments tab to view inactive trading segments.

  4. Toggle the switch for the segment(s) you wish to activate.

  5. Click Activate Segments to proceed.

Verification process:

  1. OTP Verification: Enter the OTP sent to your registered email and mobile number to confirm activation.

  2. Income Proof:

    • Use one of the following methods:

      • Account aggregator.

      • Auto-fetch Holdings Statement.

      • Upload financial documents like ITR acknowledgment, Net Worth Certificate, Demat holdings, recent 6 months bank statements, or salary slips.

    • Accepted formats: PDF/JPG (maximum size: 5 MB).

  1. E-Sign Verification:

    • Redirect to the e-sign page.

    • Enter your Aadhaar number and complete verification using Aadhaar OTP.

Important notes:

  • Ensure uploaded documents meet the required format (PDF/JPG, max size 5 MB).

  • Activation is typically processed within 2-5 working days.
