Can I view expired contracts in FYERS?
FYERS does not currently provide direct access to historical or expired option chain data through the Options Chain interface. Once an expiry date has passed, its contract data is no longer visible on the main trading screen.
What’s available on FYERS
- Active expiries only:
The Options Chain displays data only for live contracts that have not yet expired. You can switch between near-term weekly and monthly expiries using the dropdown, but past dates will not be listed. - Chart-based historical analysis:
You can view price history for the underlying instrument (e.g., NIFTY or BANKNIFTY) using the advanced chart view, but this will not include expired options or strike-level data. - Contract reference via reports:
You may find past positions or contract data in your Contract Notes, Trade Book, or Order History under the Reports section in FYERS Web.
Alternative sources for expired data
If you require expired options data (like strike-wise OI or IV), you can download it from the official NSE India website, which offers historical option chain archives.
If you need to revisit an expired trade, check your Trade Book or Order Book to view entry/exit prices and contract details.
