You can customise this using the Custom option. With this option, you can choose which positions should be included or excluded before activating Smart Exit, giving you better control over which trades Smart Exit should monitor and exit when the configured condition is triggered.
With the Custom option, you can select specific positions that should be considered for Smart Exit. Positions that are not selected will not be monitored or exited when Smart Exit is triggered.
For example, you may have multiple open positions across Futures, Options, Equity Intraday, MTF, and Delivery. If you want Smart Exit to monitor only your Options positions, you can use the Custom option and select only those Options positions. Smart Exit will then consider only the selected Options positions when your Target or Stop-loss condition is triggered.
To customise positions in Smart Exit:
Once activated, Smart Exit monitors only the positions based on your custom selection.
| Scenario | Solution |
|---|---|
| A position was not closed after Smart Exit was triggered | The position may have been excluded from the Custom selection or may not be supported by Smart Exit. |
| Delivery or MTF positions were not available for selection | Delivery and MTF positions cannot be added to Smart Exit. |
| Smart Exit applied only to Options positions | This can happen if only Options positions were selected using the Custom option. |
| Smart Exit applied only to some positions | Smart Exit monitors only the positions included in your custom selection. |
| Position selection looks different after modification | Review your selected positions again before saving changes to an active Smart Exit condition. |
