Can I place Market & Limit orders together in a Basket from the Option Chain on FYERS?

Can I place Market and Limit orders together in Basket mode from the Option Chain on FYERS?

Yes. In FYERS Basket mode, you can add multiple legs from the Options Chain and choose Market or Limit for each leg separately.

After adding two or more legs, you can review the quantity, price, funds, net premium, and charges on one screen. You can then Execute the basket immediately or Save it to your Basket for later.

How it works

  • Where it works: You can use Basket mode from the Options Chain on the FYERS App and FYERS Web.
  • Per-leg order type: Each leg can be set as Market or Limit. If you choose Limit, you must enter a valid price.
  • Execution: When you select Execute, legs are sent in a sequence designed to require the lowest margin.
  • Order status: After submission, each leg can show a status such as Executed, Pending, or Rejected.
  • Save for later: You can select Save to keep the strategy in your Basket and execute it later.
