How to partially exit positions or cancel orders in FYERS Scalper Terminal

Can I partially exit positions or cancel all orders for a specific symbol in the Scalper Terminal?

In dynamic market conditions, managing your trades precisely can be the difference between profit and loss. Fyers Scalper Terminal offers tools like partial exit and one-click order cancellation for specific symbols—designed to help you control exposure and reduce execution clutter.

How to partially exit a position?

  • Open the Positions tab in the Fyers Scalper Terminal.
  • Locate the open position for the symbol you want to reduce.
  • Use the input slider beside the position to select the percentage of the position you want to exit.
  • Confirm the exit to place a partial sell/buy order.

This is helpful for locking in profits or reducing risk incrementally.

How to cancel all F&O orders for a symbol

  • Navigate to the Orders tab.
  • Filter or locate all pending F&O orders.
  • Click on the Cancel All Orders option for the selected symbol.

This action will cancel all open Futures & Options orders linked to that underlying symbol while leaving others untouched.

What if...?

ScenarioExplanation
What if I want to exit a custom quantity instead of a percentage?Currently, the slider is designed for percentage-based exits. For exact quantities, use the standard order entry panel.
What if some orders don’t cancel?Orders may already be in execution or partial fill. Refresh your screen and verify the order book.
Can I undo a partial exit or canceled order? No, once confirmed, partial exits and cancellations are final. You can re-enter a new order if needed.
Use partial exit to book profits gradually, and cancel all F&O orders quickly if your trade plan changes—especially when the market is moving fast.
