Can I map the Heatmap to my portfolio and customise tile size and color using my P&L?

Yes. In FYERS Web, when you select Universe → My stocks in the Heatmap, you can access additional portfolio-specific metrics for both block size and block color.

This allows you to visualise your portfolio exposure, capital allocation, and profit/loss distribution directly within the heatmap view.

How to access the portfolio heatmap view

  1. Log in to FYERS Web.
  2. Go to Markets → Analytics → Heatmap.
  3. Click on Universe.
  4. Select My stocks.
  5. Choose either:
    • Open positions, or
    • Portfolio holdings
  6. Click Apply.

Once selected, the heatmap will display only the stocks from your chosen portfolio category.

Portfolio-specific metrics available

When My stocks is selected, additional portfolio-driven metrics become available under:

Block size options

  • Quantity
  • Invested Value
  • Current Value

Block color options

  • Total P&L
  • Total P&L %
  • Today’s P&L
  • Today’s P&L %

How this helps in portfolio analysis

  • Exposure check: Size blocks by Invested Value to instantly see where most capital is deployed.
  • Risk concentration: Larger red blocks may highlight positions contributing most to losses.
  • Intraday monitoring: Color tiles by Today’s P&L % to quickly identify positions driving daily movement.
  • Performance review: Use Total P&L % to compare relative returns across holdings.
Tip: Combine Invested Value (block size) with Today’s P&L % (block color) to identify high-capital positions that are impacting your portfolio the most during the session.

No tiles appear after selecting Portfolio holdingsYou may not have active holdings in your account. The heatmap will only display available holdings or open positions.
Block size and color options do not show portfolio metricsPortfolio-based metrics are available only when Universe is set to My stocks. Switching to indices or other universes will remove those options.
